We listen first.
A telephone call, callback or private video meeting gives us the chance to understand your interests, experience and intentions. New to art is not a disadvantage; an honest starting point is valuable.

The ArtCap process
Every relationship begins with a private conversation—not a catalogue, a sales list or an assumption about what you should collect.
How ArtCap works
A telephone call, callback or private video meeting gives us the chance to understand your interests, experience and intentions. New to art is not a disadvantage; an honest starting point is valuable.
We consider whether ArtCap can add value and whether there is a credible fit with an artist, studio or estate. This protects everybody’s time and keeps introductions purposeful.
Where appropriate, ArtCap facilitates a direct introduction. You speak to the studio or representative, explore the work and decide in your own time whether to proceed.
As conversations develop, we favour face-to-face meetings wherever practical—whether in London, at a studio or by arranging to travel to you.
Direct access, properly handled
Before any acquisition, the collector should understand who is authorised to sell the work, its provenance and condition, the full price and taxes, and any gallery or territorial representation that may apply. ArtCap creates the conversation; the artist, studio or estate remains responsible for the offer and transaction.
