Acquisition advice
Support before a purchase, including market context, provenance, condition, pricing considerations and the questions worth asking before you proceed.

Art Advisory UK
A personal approach to collecting—whether you are considering your first acquisition, developing a collection or looking for informed guidance on works you already own.
A considered point of view
ArtCap works with new and established collectors who value a private, informed conversation before making decisions. We help you consider an acquisition, understand the market around an artist, review provenance and condition, and think carefully about how a collection may develop over time.
We do not prescribe what somebody should collect. Our role is to bring context, judgment and access, while leaving every decision with the collector. Where there is a genuine fit, we can also facilitate a direct introduction to a selected artist, studio or estate.
Advice across collecting
Support before a purchase, including market context, provenance, condition, pricing considerations and the questions worth asking before you proceed.
A thoughtful view of how individual works sit together, where a collection may have gaps and how future acquisitions can reflect your own interests rather than a prescribed formula.
Guidance for collectors who already own art and want to better understand, document, care for or make informed decisions about their collection.
Where appropriate, direct and properly qualified introductions to selected artists, studios and estates—with no public catalogue and no pressure to proceed.
The practical side of ownership
Owning art involves more than choosing the work. Through our specialist network, we can introduce collectors to trusted providers across fine-art storage, specialist transportation, professional hanging and installation, and fine-art insurance.
ArtCap acts as an informed first point of contact and introducer. We do not directly provide storage, transport, installation or insurance services, and we do not provide insurance products or regulated insurance advice.
Clear boundaries
ArtCap provides art-market guidance and collector support, not regulated financial or investment advice. We do not handle client funds. If an acquisition follows an introduction, the collector contracts with and pays the artist, studio or estate directly. There is no obligation to purchase.
